ALL YOU NEED IS A "SEED"...

"IF YOU HAVE FAITH AS A MUSTARD SEED, YOU WILL SAY TO THIS MOUNTAIN, 'MOVE'...AND IT WILL." MATTHEW 17:20
When you're battling a mountain of sickness, debt, loneliness or depression, it's easy to harbor self-defeating expectations about how things will turn out - based on your past experiences.  Also, because we live in a "faithless and perverse generation" we are constantly fighting the negative attitudes of our Culture, Media, the Educational System, the Workplace, even our Family and friends. Unless you recognize this it can wear you down by diluting and polluting your faith. That's why you need to feed your faith daily on God's Word.

SCARS OF LIFE...

Some years ago in the little town of Kaduna Lissam, USSA Local Govt Area of Taraba State, a little boy by name Andenum decided to go for a swim in the river not far from behind his house.
In a hurry to dive into the cool water, he ran out to the back of the house, leaving behind his slippers, and shirt as he went. On getting to the river bank which is a viewing distance from the house, he dived into the water, not realizing that as he swam toward the middle, a crocodile was swimming toward him. His mother, who was sitting at the back of the house and picking beans, was looking and saw the two as they got closer and closer together.
In utter fear, she ran toward the water, yelling to her son as loudly as she could.
Hearing her voice, the little boy became alarmed and made a U-turn to swim to his mother. It was too late. Just as he reached her, the alligator reached him. From the river bank, the mother grabbed her little boy by the arms just as the crock snatched his legs. That began an incredible tug-of-war between the two.

The alligator was much stronger than the mother, the mother was much too passionate to let go. A hunter happened to be passing by, heard the mother's scream, raced towards her, took aim, and shot the crocodile.

After weeks and weeks in the hospital, the little boy survived and got well. His legs were extremely scarred by the vicious attack of the crocodile. And, on his arms, were deep gouges
where his mother's fingernails dug into his flesh in her effort to hang onto the son she loved. The community head came to visit little Andenum after the trauma and asked if the kid would show him his scars. The boy lifted his pant legs to display the awful damage from the Crocodile. And then, with obvious pride, the boy said to the man, "But look at my arms,
I have really great scars on my arms, I have them because my Mama wouldn't let go!!!."

MORALE

You and I can identify with that little boy. We have scars, too. Not usually from an Crocodile LOL, but the scars of a painful past. Some of  these scars are unpleasant and have caused us deep regret. But some wounds, my friend, are because God has refused to let go. In the midst of your struggle, He's been there holding on to you.

The Scripture teaches that God loves you and I. We are His children and He wants to protect and provide for us in every way.
Sometimes we foolishly wade into dangerous situations, not knowing what lies ahead. The Rivers of life is filled with menace and we forget that the enemy is waiting to attack. That's when the tug-of-war begins... and if you have the scars of His love on your arms, be very, very grateful. He did not and will not ever let you go. So never judge another person's scars, because you don't know how they got them.

This Morning just take a look at your scars and know that God has blessed you with the gift of another day. You just never know where a person is in his/her life and what they are going through. Probably what One or more of your friends need to know is that God loves them, and that you love them too, enough to appreciate their scars and being there for them.
I have not and will not give up on you my dear Friends, so be sure to receive Motivational and Inspirational post like these from me constantly, all I ask is for you to read, apply to principle to your life and not forgetting to share the post with your friends too.

It is a lovely Tuesday, another day above ground full of opportunities, so go out there and take advantage by RESPONDING TO LIFE positively. Have a great day, cheers.

TRUST IN GOD'S TIMING...

The day is half way gone, some of us might be on break while others are still on the grind. For those of us who have the time to flip and browse through some pages online, let me talk to you for a minute.

Rules To Live By...

Good morning Friends, how was your weekend? You rested well I believe. It is Monday, the beginning of another week full of God's Love, Blessings and Guidance. And as you start the week here are three rules I am suggesting you live by each day:
      (1) Be grateful! Happiness is not about getting what you want, it's about enjoying what you've got! So keep your perspective and be grateful every day. Rudyard Kipling said, "Do not pay too much attention to Fame, Power or Money. Some day you will meet a person who cares for none of these, then you will know how poor you are."
      (2) Don't compare! When you see your neighbors buying new furnishings for their home, taking expensive vacations and driving new vehicles, does something stir inside of you to do the same? That is sometimes jealousy and it can lead to a competitive attitude, which might not be too healthy, as most times it is done with strife and this might lead to hatred if you don't achieve that desired goal. Because someone appears to be in different circumstances to yours, doesn't mean anything. Because your situation is better than the next person's it doesn't make you a special being! Remember Ecclesiastes 9:11 says, "the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happens to them all".
Your neighbors might earn twice as much. Or they may be in debt up to their eyeballs; or be heading for bankruptcy or divorce, don't judge them. Don't make assumptions and don't try to be like someone else. Be yourself, run your own race, remain steadfast and focused, I am positive that success is just around the corner!
      (3) Give! Bruce Larsen says, "Money is another pair of hands to heal, feed and bless the desperate families of the earth. In other words, money is my other self." But that's true only if you're willing to part with it! Money's like manure: if you let it pile up it stinks, if you spread it around it helps things grow! Jesus said, "Unto whomsoever much is given, of whom shall much be required" (Luke 12:48). Money gives you options the less fortunate can only pray for. On the other hand, how you use your money will be one of the biggest issues you'll face on Judgment Day. Just Think about it!
Once again remember these three rules to live by BE GRATEFUL, DON'T COMPARE & GIVE!!!
Like I have always said, the difference between us is in how we RESPOND TO LIFE.
God bless your hustle this week, cheers.

COVENANT HOUSE OF GLORY...

Hi Friends, its another weekend and I am sure it is turning out to be a restful one. I had opportunity of being in the presence of the Head Pastor of Covenant House Of Glory Rev. Hendricks OMALE, nice man and well worded.
Had an interesting conversation with both Spiritual and Intellectual and I left blessed.
I left feeling so blessed and felt I need to show my appreciation, so I have decided to use this medium to add to God's Kingdom work.

DILIGENCE... (2)

Archbishop Benson Idahosa of blessed memory once said that “ if you must perspire to acquire what you desire, do not retire, only re-fire“. We must work to acquire what we desire.
Proverbs 10:4 says “ He becomes poor that deals with a slack hand, but the hand of the diligent makes rich”.

DILIGENCE... (1)

Dreams hardly work out by themselves. We have to work them out. While some dream of worthy accomplishments, others stay awake to turn their dreams into reality. The difference is clear. Work is divine. Work is not a curse. Work was designed by God to release our potentials.
You never know what you can accomplish until you dare. Work was designed to give us fulfillment.
Work enables us to take advantage of the opportunities that come our way.
