WE ALL ARE RICH!!!

I remember once, I asked my friend, Maton Jones who is now Late (and that is Maton and I in 2008 at Oniru Beach Lagos on the cover picture 😔), who we both grew up together as if we were brothers  where we stood on the spectrum between rich and poor.

I said, "I know we live well and have money, but we don't have millions of Naira.  What does that make us?"

Are you a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime?

People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which one it is, you will know what to do for each person.

REASON:
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.  They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
They may seem like God sent, and they are!!!  They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die, sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. I am sure some of us can relate to this, right?
Now what we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered.
And now it is time to move on.

SEASON:
When people come into your life for a SEASON it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn.  They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.  They may teach you something you have never done.  They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.  Believe it!  It is real!
But, it is only for a season!!!

LIFETIME:
Lifetime relationships teach you lifetime lessons; things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
With all sincerity I want to Thank you for being a part of my life. And I hope and pray you have come into my life for a LIFETIME cos that is how long I have come to stay in yours.
Can you do me a favor by just SMILING........ thanks. You have a beautiful smile by the way, lol.
Today I want you to work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
And dance like no one is watching.
Why? Cos life is too short to be wasted worrying on what you have no control over.
have a blessed day.

LET THE DIGGING BEGIN...

Two brothers once decided to dig a deep hole behind their house.
As they were working, a couple of other boys stopped by to watch.

"What are you doing?" asked one of the boys.

"We're going to dig a hole all the way through the earth!" one of the brothers volunteered excitedly.

The other boys began to laugh, telling the brothers that digging a hole all the way through the earth was impossible.  After a long silence, one of the diggers picked up a jar full of spiders, worms, insects and interesting stones.  He removed the lid and showed the wonderful contents to the scoffing visitors.

Then he said confidently, "Even if we don't dig all the way through the earth, look what we found along the way!"

Their goal was far too ambitious, but it did cause them to dig.
That is what a goal is for, to cause us to move in the direction we have chosen.  In other words, to set us to digging!

But not every goal will be fully achieved.  Not every job will end successfully.  Not every relationship will endure.  Not every
hope will come to pass.  Not every love will last.  Not every endeavor will be completed.  Not every dream will be realized.

But when you fall short of your aim, perhaps you can say, "Yes, but look at what I found along the way!
Look at the wonderful things which have come into my life because I tried to do something!"

It is in the digging that life is lived, and it is the joy in the journey that truly matters!

It's a new day and a new week, let's get digging!!!!
Cheers.

DADDY'S EMPTY CHAIR...

There once lived a man who was ill and so he asked his daughter to call their church Pastor to come and pray with him.
When the Pastor arrived, he found the man lying in bed, and there was an empty chair beside his bed.

The Pastor assumed that the chair was kept there for him since they were aware of his visit.

"I guess you were expecting me, the Pastor said.
"Oh yeah, the chair," said the man.
"Would you mind closing the door?"

The Pastor went and shut the door, then came back and sat by the bed side.

"I have never told anyone this, not even my daughter," said the man. "But all of my life I have never known how to pray. At church I used to hear you talk about prayer, but it went right over my head."I abandoned any attempt at prayer," the old man continued, "until one day four years ago, my best friend said to me, "Andy, prayer is just a simple matter of having a conversation with Jesus".
Here is what he suggested.  Sit down in a chair, place an empty chair in front of you, and in faith see Jesus on the other chair.
It may look spooky and very weird when anyone sees you talking to an empty chair but remember Jesus promised to be with you always'.
"Then just speak to him in the same way you're doing with me right now." "So, I tried it and I've liked it so much that I do it a couple of hours every day.
I'm careful though, because If my daughter saw me talking to an empty chair, she'd either have a nervous breakdown or send me off to the psychiatric home."

The Pastor was deeply moved by the story and encouraged the old man to continue on the journey of his new found faith.

Then he prayed with him, anointed him with oil, and returned to the church.

Two nights later the daughter called to tell the Pastor that her daddy had died that afternoon.

Did he die in peace?" he asked. Yes, when I was about to leave the house, he called me over to his bedside, told me he loved me and kissed me on the cheek. When I got back from the market an hour later, I found him dead.
But there was something strange about his death. Apparently, just before Daddy died, he leaned over and rested his head on the chair beside the bed. What do you make of that, Sir?"

The Pastor wiped a tear from his eye and said, "I wish we could all go like that."

Prayer is one of the best free gift we have received. Lets cultivate the habit of praying. Most times, we spend more time mumbling and complaining rather than taking it to the problem solver in prayer.
This Friday morning, it is my prayer that you come to realize how effective prayer can change your life situations. Do have a blessed weekend and don't forget to PRAY!!!

LIFE...

I woke up very early this morning say about 4am, and after my morning devotion this question kept creeping through my mind, "If Man was created in God's image, and if all men are created equal, why do people treat each other so badly?"

FOOD FOR THOUGHT...

Relationships are so important.  We have many kind of relationships. We have family relationships-immediate family, extended family.  We have relationships with coworkers, church family, neighbors, and friends.
Sometimes we gain relationships with others by doing hobbies, or enjoying things we have in common with others.

DREAM BIG (final episode)

Yesterday I talked about "DREAMING BIG". During the day I got a few reactions, and most of them needed clarification on what I meant. So have I have decided to add this as the final episode for the sake of proper understanding.

DREAM BIG (2)

Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche is the senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center in Abuja with a large population in Thousands.
Dunamis International Gospel Centre was established on the 10th of November 1996. The first Sunday service was held at Abuja Centre for Arts and Culture (First Floor) Area 10. Church service was held there for 2weeks before the church moved to Abuja Sheraton Hotel & Towers, where worship took place for about 6 months.

DREAM BIG (1)

Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” So from this day on I want you to dream. Dreams are the raw materials God uses to create our future.
Remember I have always said that, 'the realities of today were the dreams of yesterday. And the realities of our tomorrow are sleeping quietly in the dreams of today'.
Without a dream, there is no future. Every human being is born with the desire to be “somebody”. And we fuel the fire of this desire by dreaming. Have you noticed that dreams seem to grow best in the hearts of children.
Unfortunately, the world does not really encourage dreamers. As we grow up, the realities of life seem to slap us in the face, and take our dreams from us. But remember, that whatever steals your dream has stolen the future.
Whatever your situation may be today, it has the tendency to change. And when it changes, it will change into the dreams in your heart. Therefore dream big. Let the dream of a better tomorrow burn in your heart.
You will succeed.

The Power Of Ideas... (conclusion)

Ideas are simply thoughts, plans or mental impressions in the mind. However they are more powerful than we may understand. It may also interest us to know that God did not finish creation, but only started it. He did not turn into physical reality all of the things that were real in His mind. He gave man the privilege and honor to 'help' Him translate into physical reality the remaining of those things that are reality in the spiritual realm.

THE POWER OF IDEAS (1)...

Many years ago, in a small town in the United States, a doctor climbed his horse and rode to a Chemist’s shop. He went in through the back door, with him he carried in his hand an old fashioned kettle and a wooden paddle.
He brought these items to the shop clerk with a sheet of paper on which was written the formula for a drink. Both of them began to bargain and eventually the clerk gave the doctor five hundred dollars for the items that he had come to sell. What the doctor sold to the clerk was worth a fortune to the young clerk but not to the doctor who gave away the items for just five hundred dollars.
To the surprise of the clerk, the content of the kettle which has since become a household name in the world, began to pour forth gold. Somehow, the young clerk added something to the kettle, the paddle and the formula. That thing, I believe, is an idea. Today, the content of that kettle is the greatest consumer of sugar in the world. It is sustaining sugar plantations, the workers and their families around the world.
The name of this drink is Coca-Cola, and the name of the clerk is Asa Candler. The same thing that the doctor placed a value of five hundred dollars on has today assumed a value of $192.8 Billion as at May this year (2016). The difference between the doctor and the clerk was one idea. The doctor did not realize that, all the while he was holding the kettle, the paddle and the formula, billions of dollars were potentially lying in his hands. Unfortunately he did not find the idea so he could not get the billions of dollars. But one young man caught the idea and was able to release the potential for the billions.
I share this story with you to make you understand one of the basic principles of life. Before creation, this whole world and the people in it were just an impression on God's mind. Everything was sleeping quietly in an idea. When you understand, that simple foundation, you lay hold on a principle that can see you through to the fulfillment of your destiny.
A great future awaits all of us, but I want to tell you that this future is waiting for you in the thoughts that God wants to transfer into your mind. Some of, us have caught some ideas, some have not, but our future is sleeping quietly inside our ideas.
