WE ALL ARE RICH!!!
Tuesday, 29 November 2016
Are you a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime?
They may seem like God sent, and they are!!! They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die, sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. I am sure some of us can relate to this, right?
Now what we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered.
And now it is time to move on.
But, it is only for a season!!!
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
With all sincerity I want to Thank you for being a part of my life. And I hope and pray you have come into my life for a LIFETIME cos that is how long I have come to stay in yours.
Can you do me a favor by just SMILING........ thanks. You have a beautiful smile by the way, lol.
Today I want you to work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.

LET THE DIGGING BEGIN...
Two brothers once decided to dig a deep hole behind their house.
As they were working, a couple of other boys stopped by to watch.
"What are you doing?" asked one of the boys.
"We're going to dig a hole all the way through the earth!" one of the brothers volunteered excitedly.
The other boys began to laugh, telling the brothers that digging a hole all the way through the earth was impossible. After a long silence, one of the diggers picked up a jar full of spiders, worms, insects and interesting stones. He removed the lid and showed the wonderful contents to the scoffing visitors.
Then he said confidently, "Even if we don't dig all the way through the earth, look what we found along the way!"
Their goal was far too ambitious, but it did cause them to dig.
That is what a goal is for, to cause us to move in the direction we have chosen. In other words, to set us to digging!
But not every goal will be fully achieved. Not every job will end successfully. Not every relationship will endure. Not every
hope will come to pass. Not every love will last. Not every endeavor will be completed. Not every dream will be realized.
But when you fall short of your aim, perhaps you can say, "Yes, but look at what I found along the way!
Look at the wonderful things which have come into my life because I tried to do something!"
It is in the digging that life is lived, and it is the joy in the journey that truly matters!
It's a new day and a new week, let's get digging!!!!
Cheers.

DADDY'S EMPTY CHAIR...
When the Pastor arrived, he found the man lying in bed, and there was an empty chair beside his bed.
The Pastor assumed that the chair was kept there for him since they were aware of his visit.
"I guess you were expecting me, the Pastor said.
"Oh yeah, the chair," said the man.
"Would you mind closing the door?"
The Pastor went and shut the door, then came back and sat by the bed side.
"I have never told anyone this, not even my daughter," said the man. "But all of my life I have never known how to pray. At church I used to hear you talk about prayer, but it went right over my head."I abandoned any attempt at prayer," the old man continued, "until one day four years ago, my best friend said to me, "Andy, prayer is just a simple matter of having a conversation with Jesus".
It may look spooky and very weird when anyone sees you talking to an empty chair but remember Jesus promised to be with you always'.
"Then just speak to him in the same way you're doing with me right now." "So, I tried it and I've liked it so much that I do it a couple of hours every day.
I'm careful though, because If my daughter saw me talking to an empty chair, she'd either have a nervous breakdown or send me off to the psychiatric home."
The Pastor was deeply moved by the story and encouraged the old man to continue on the journey of his new found faith.
Then he prayed with him, anointed him with oil, and returned to the church.
Two nights later the daughter called to tell the Pastor that her daddy had died that afternoon.
Did he die in peace?" he asked. Yes, when I was about to leave the house, he called me over to his bedside, told me he loved me and kissed me on the cheek. When I got back from the market an hour later, I found him dead.
But there was something strange about his death. Apparently, just before Daddy died, he leaned over and rested his head on the chair beside the bed. What do you make of that, Sir?"
The Pastor wiped a tear from his eye and said, "I wish we could all go like that."
Prayer is one of the best free gift we have received. Lets cultivate the habit of praying. Most times, we spend more time mumbling and complaining rather than taking it to the problem solver in prayer.

Sometimes we gain relationships with others by doing hobbies, or enjoying things we have in common with others.

THE POWER OF IDEAS (1)...
He brought these items to the shop clerk with a sheet of paper on which was written the formula for a drink. Both of them began to bargain and eventually the clerk gave the doctor five hundred dollars for the items that he had come to sell. What the doctor sold to the clerk was worth a fortune to the young clerk but not to the doctor who gave away the items for just five hundred dollars.
